Group Theory Applet (C_s):

This applet models the symmetry operation of the group C_s. Click on the C₁ box to see the animation for the operation, a 360 degree rotation (which is equivalent to the identity operation).

This group also possesses the vertical mirror operation σ _v; the s subscript in the name of the group derives from der Speigel (German for "mirror").
