This applet models the chromatographic separation of two compounds.
Clicking on tR1+ increases the retention time of compound #1. Click on tR1- to decrease the retention time of compound #1. Clicking on tR2+ increases the retention time of compound #2. Click on tR2- to decrease the retention time of compound #2.
The retention time for the "solvent" (tM) is fixed in the program, as are the peak areas, and peak widths for the analytes. Important parameters of the separation are displayed on the right side of the applet.
