RL Circuit Applet 1:

This applet models the relationships among voltage, resistance, current, charge, and imductance in a RL circuit. Each of the values is updated when changes are made in the circuit's voltage, capacitance, or resistance.

Clicking on E+ increases the electromotive force (voltage), and clicking on E- decreases the voltage. Clicking on L+ increases the inductance, and C- decreases it. Clicking on R+ increases the resistance, and clicking R- decreases it. Click on charge to flip the switch in the circuit so as to charge the inductor, and click discharge to flip the switch to discharge the inductor.

Of course, in general, most circuits are built with fixed-value resistors, and built to operate at a specific voltage. Nevertheless, it is useful to be able to see what happens if we change these values.
