GRE Scores:

Verbal - 740 (98th percentile) / Quantitative - 750 (89th percentile)

(taken only once, on 14 October 1995)

The GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is required for admission to most scientific graduate school programs. It consists of three parts - Quantitative (math), Verbal (English), and Analytical (logic). Each section is scored from 200 to 800. Commonly, only the scores from the Quantitative and Verbal sections are considered.

My score in the 98th percentile on the Verbal section means that I scored higher than 98 percent of the people who took the test.
