Chem 320, Environmental Chemistry Laboratory

Instructor: Lawrence T. Sein, Ph.D.

Office Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Note that I am always accessible for questions by e-mail.

Laboratory Syllabus:

Unlike previous laboratories, all groups of students will perform the same experiment at the same time.

Technique is extremely important. Pipetting out of the bottle, not labelling reaction vessels, or using graduated cylinders to prepare "accurate" solutions volumetrically will result in a poor grade for the lab.

Laboratory Reports:

Find a guide to writing proper reports here.

Important Laboratory Concepts:

Find a guide to some of the important laboratory concepts encountered so far in the course here.
